About Jessica

Jessica Crane is a singer/songwriter, with a passion for the creative arts. She has been singing and playing violin with her father, Ben Crane, on stages all across Alberta since she was six years old, and has since picked up other instruments along the way, such as the acoustic guitar, piano, ukulele, and cello. Violin however, remains her primary and most versatile instrument, other than her voice. Through her voice and all her instruments, Jessica thrives on harmonies and aims to bring out as much emotion as she possibly can. She plays primarily by ear, and always directly from the heart.

In addition to performing concerts, Jessica is also a music teacher. She currently provides lessons in violin, piano, and acoustic guitar. Jessica teaches the Suzuki Method, focusing on ear training, and teaching her students how to play from the heart and make the most out of their natural talent.

Jessica's career as a musician also reaches to the recording studio, where she offers her musical talent to those who would hire her to sing or play an instrument on their upcoming album. She has also had the privilege of recording a duet album of her and her father, titled 'The Two of Us", which can be found on Spotify.
